Not exactly sure... my wife opened it in the morning, and saw that the screen had a white spot about the size of a dime near the top. After about an hour, it became apparent that we had a cracked LCD on our hands.
From some heavy Googling, it seems that the newer, LED-backlit displays are thinner, lighter, and more flexible than the older glass ones, which seems to make them prone to torsion-induced cracks.
